How to Make Payment with MTN Mobile Money.

When you are ready to make payment, you will receive an SMS requesting you to approve payment for the amount required.

Please follow the 6 steps below to approve payment. If you have insufficient funds on your Mobile Money Wallet, please load sufficient funds and request that the SMS to be sent again.

1. Dial *170# on your MTN Phone.
   Alternatively, you can download the "MyMTN Ghana App" on your Android or iPhone and follow the same process.


 

2. Select Option 6 "My Wallet"


 

3. Select Option 3 "My Approvals"


 

4. Enter your MTN Mobile Money PIN


 

5. Select the line item you would like to approve payment
   If the message "You have no Pending Approvals" appears, then either the SMS was not sent to you or you have insufficient funds in your wallet.


 

6. Select 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel


 

You will receive a confirmation SMS of a successful payment.
